MindMuscle AI ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use MindMuscle AI:

• Account information: Name, email address, and authentication credentials when you create an account
• Profile data: Age, weight, height, fitness goals, and other information you voluntarily provide
• Workout data: Exercise logs, workout plans, sets, reps, and weights you record
• Diet data: Meals, calorie counts, and nutritional information you log or scan
• Body composition data: Weight entries and body measurements you record over time
• AI chat messages: Conversations with the AI coach stored to provide context for ongoing coaching
• Camera images: Photos you take for meal scanning or body composition analysis (processed by Google Gemini AI — images are not stored permanently)
• Device information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for diagnostic purposes

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the MindMuscle AI application
• Power AI coaching responses by sending relevant context to Google Gemini AI
• Sync your data securely across devices via Firebase
• Process subscription payments through Google Play
• Improve the App and fix bugs
• Send important account and service notifications

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication), operated by Google LLC. We apply industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Local caches may be stored on your device using AsyncStorage.

Photos taken for meal scanning are sent directly to Google Gemini AI for analysis and are not stored on our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase — Authentication and database storage
• Google Gemini AI — AI coaching, meal analysis, and body composition analysis
• Google Play Billing — Subscription management and payment processing

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

5. Data Sharing

We only share your data in the following circumstances:

• With coaches you explicitly connect with through the Coach Marketplace (they can see your workout and diet data you share)
• With third-party services listed above, as required to operate the App
• When required by law or to protect our legal rights

6. Children's Privacy

MindMuscle AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
